Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Blood Bank

Job descriptionPerform complex Blood Bank testing procedures in accordance with department SOPs Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results to support high-quality patient care Perform and document quality control procedures and routine maintenance Participate in the evaluation of new reagents and controls Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements Provide technical oversight and guidance to less experienced staff Work Monday–Friday, 3 : 00pm–11 : 30pm, with rotating weekends Demonstrate flexibility for overtime or alternate shifts as needed Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen

Must Have Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (must meet CLIA & State requirements)
- Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in Blood Bank operations
- High attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
