Survey Party Chief (Chesapeake, VA)

Position Summary

The Survey Party Chief's primary function is to manage and direct a survey crew while in the field. Typical

project types will include topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction stakeout. The Party

Chief is responsible for meeting assigned project schedules.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand, operate, and maintain the various types of instruments and equipment.
• Perform field and office computations.
• Manage and responsible for crew members.
• Good communication skills.
• Work closely with Supervisor to complete projects within assigned schedules.
• Adhere to company safety polices and use of supplied personal protective equipment.
• Travel to project sites, other branch offices, and client offices.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
