Purpose and Scope
- We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Mobile Device Deployment and Support Analyst to coordinate and support the smooth, large-scale rollout of new enterprise tablets (primarily iOS / Apple) to end users across the organization.
- This role is critical to ensure all operational staff are successfully equipped and trained on their new mobile devices. This role requires the ability to work independently when required, across the system, while functioning as a key member of the deployment team.
- The Client is one of the largest public transit systems in the United States, operating across a broad geographic area in the greater Boston region. Our service area includes subway, bus, commuter rail, and ferry operations, which rely heavily on robust and reliable communications for daily operation and public safety.
- This role will require the ability to travel throughout the system for physical inventory or other needs.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist with large-scale rollout of new iOS (Apple) and Android tablets to end-users across department.Support device configuration & deployment through Microsoft Intune MDM.Manage initial setup, including Verizon Wireless eSIM activation and cellular configuration.Ensure successful end-user login using Active Directory (A / D) credentials and setup of two-factor authentication.Serve as T1 / T2 support for device, application, and connectivity issues.Provide on-site support, training, and user guidance during rollout.Create and deliver user-friendly guides and training materials.Troubleshoot issues related to mobile device connectivity, Wi-Fi, cellular data, and app access.Assist in collecting and analyzing cellular and Wi-Fi coverage data to identify gaps.Maintain accurate documentation of assets, deployment progress, and device assignments.REQUIRED SKILLS (Ranked) :
