Sales Specialist, Life Science (Maryland)

The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and high-energy Life Science Specialist to maintain and advance our local Life Science sales in workflows related to Genomics, Proteomics, and Cell Biology.

This role will be a full-time position based in the Maryland or the DC area, with travel and responsibility throughout that region. You will have the opportunity to consultatively sell Avantor's large portfolio of Life Science products and services to a diverse group of current and prospective clients.

What we're looking for :

• Education : Bachelor degree in a Life Science area is required; Master's or PhD in Life Sciences area preferred
• Experience : 2-3 years of Life Science research / lab experience required

Excellent people skills in communicating and collaborating with customers, manufacturing reps, management, team members, and internal divisions-Portfolio, Marketing, and others.

Experience in CRM and / or Qlikview.

Pay Transparency :

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is $102,200.00 - $170,300.00. Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
