Account Executive

Owning a home is a foundational part of building financial security and wealth in America. You're an entrepreneurial enterprise software sales professional who thrives in early-stage environments and is energized by building something from the ground up. You have a track record of successfully closing complex, high-value deals and aren't afraid to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. The ideal candidate will have :

  • Proven experience selling enterprise software solutions, particularly those requiring significant organizational change or integration
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, as well as the ability to build consensus across a large organization
  • The ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences
  • A self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and follow-through
  • Experience in or strong familiarity with the mortgage industry is a plus, but not required
  • Most importantly, you're someone who combines deep sales expertise with genuine curiosity about our customers' challenges and a collaborative approach to finding solutions.

About your role

As one of our first sales hires, you'll play a crucial role in scaling Vesta's go-to-market motion and establishing our sales playbook. You'll work directly with our CEO to learn our proven sales approach and then make it your own. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Owning the full sales cycle for enterprise mortgage lenders, from initial outreach through closing
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners
  • Conducting detailed discovery calls and product demos
  • Developing and documenting repeatable sales processes that can scale with our growing team
  • Contributing strategic insights to help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback
  • Representing Vesta at industry conferences and events
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to not just join an early-stage startup, but to potentially grow into a sales leadership position as we scale. You'll work directly with the founding team and have significant influence on how we build and grow our sales organization.

  • The OTE compensation range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000 / year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
