Production Supervisor

Pay Range : $30-$40 / hr plus overtime

Shift : 3pm-11 : 30pm. The expectation is that supervisors arrive 30 minutes pre-shift for preparation and stay 30 minutes post shift during handoffs and updating production and personnel reports.

This positions qualifies for overtime above 40 hours in a week. The schedule is Monday-Friday and potential overtime on weekends, typically one or two Saturdays a month.

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing process and ensure that production targets are met efficiently and effectively.

This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a team of production workers and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Train, mentor, and motivate production workers to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
• Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for production team members

Experience :

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (1-2 years experience required)
• Strong knowledge of production processes, including basic math calculations, materials handling, machine operations, plastics injection / extrusion, caliper usage, and assembly techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting
