The Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated and mission-minded Controller to join our leadership team. This vital role ensures the financial health, transparency, and accountability of the Conference, serving both as a financial steward and as a partner in ministry with clergy, laity, and churches.
As Controller, you will play a key role in guiding the Conferences financial operations, implementing best practices, and providing critical insights that support strategic decision-making. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, audits, reporting, internal controls, and compliance, all while ensuring alignment with GAAP standards and United Methodist practices.

Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
Experience : Minimum 8 years of finance / accounting experience (nonprofit experience strongly preferred); audit experience required.

Annual salary range : $100,000-$120,000 commiserate with experience
