Client is a light industrial, healthcare, education, and retail commercial construction general contractor in the Atlanta market that is aiming to reinforce their estimating department with a talented Estimator or Senior Estimator.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

Analyze project requirements, plans, and specifications to determine necessary resources and costs.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project details and ensure alignment.

Source and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.

Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.

Provide support during the bidding process, ensuring all estimates are submitted on time.

Conduct post-project reviews to refine estimating processes and improve accuracy.

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and regulations to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Experience in estimating commercial construction projects

Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial construction field.

Estimating background.

Experienced negotiating skills to secure reliable contractor / vendor bids.

Ability to read and interpret construction documents and materials.

Proficient computer skills.

Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills. Spec writing is plus.

Base Salary : $120,000 - $135,000 + Industry leading benefits and bonus plan.
