Temporary Accountant

Location : Chalfont, PA (100% Onsite)

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Duration : 2-3 months (roughly from November 2025 to February 2026)

Overview :

A growing organization located in the Chalfont area is seeking a skilled Temporary Accountant to assist with year-end financial activities during a busy seasonal period. This hands-on role will focus on supporting the accounting team with tax preparation, reporting, and various accounting analyses to ensure accurate and timely financial closeout.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with preparation and filing of 1099 forms.
• Support sales tax reporting and compliance.
• Contribute to income tax preparation and coordination with external tax advisors as needed.
• Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting and account analysis activities.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across general ledger entries.
• Provide general accounting support to ensure deadlines are met and financial processes run smoothly.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or small business environment.

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.

Experience with tax preparation, 1099 processing, and sales tax filings.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Availability to work full-time onsite throughout the assignment period (November-January).
