Overview
Advisory Opportunity Engagement Set-Up Associate. KPMG is seeking an Associate, Opportunity Engagement Set-Up to join our Advisory organization. The firm provides audit, tax and advisory services and emphasizes individual development, an inclusive environment, and responsible community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support assigned opportunities throughout their life cycle, including engagement set-up, obtaining necessary reports, creating quotes / pricing workbooks, informing coordinators of required codes, and keeping pursuit teams informed.
- Learn service offerings and identify and resolve issues, acting as a subject matter resource; facilitate assessment and evolution processes.
- Build relationships with pursuit teams to understand their service lines.
- Preserve all assigned opportunities and contribute to pipeline health, including weekly review of potentially stale opportunities, outreach to appropriate partners and managing directors for updates, and updating opportunities in Engage / Launchpad.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for the firm\'s opportunity, pricing, risk management systems, and deal review boards (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Pricing tool, CLEAS).
- Participate in developing best practices for the Opportunity Engagement Set-Up team with senior team members and participate in weekly / monthly team calls.
- Sign up to support and actively participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent combined experience in administrative, legal, finance, business development, project management, or client service roles; experience in a professional services firm or similar environment is preferred.Bachelor\'s degree in business or equivalent experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with firm systems (Salesforce, Pricing tool, Sentinel, CLEAS) preferred; experience with internet research tools and database management.Strong time management and ability to manage stakeholder expectations; proven critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to exercise independent judgment in day-to-day decisions.Travel may be required; some workdays may exceed standard hours and include weekend coverage.Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG will not sponsor work visas for this opportunity.EEO and Benefits
