Supervisor Investigation (Healthcare FWA Team)

Overview : The Investigation Supervisor has the responsibility for leading client work aligned to Fraud, Waste and Abuse through a team of Investigators and support staff. This role provides front-line supervisory support to investigative staff and clients for the purposes of FWA detection and prevention. This may include investigating suspected incidents of fraud, waste, or abuse.
Responsibilities :
- Team Management :
- Supervises the work of Investigators and / or support staff aligned to suspected incidents of fraud, waste or abuse.
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Motivate team members through effective training and coaching to improve quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to discussions related to hiring, progressive discipline, and terminations. Ensure team members are meeting required metrics.
- Conduct frequent performance evaluations with each team member.
- Client Management :
- Ensures compliance with customer contracts.
- Serves as a main liaison to customers.
- Develops and conducts investigation-related training.
- Supports legal proceedings as needed, including testifying in court or working with law enforcement personnel to prepare cases for civil or criminal actions.
- Negotiates settlement agreements to resolve disputes.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and standards
- Participates in special projects as required.
Qualifications :
Education and Experience Requirements :Bachelor's Degree in related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training and work experience.8-10 years of related investigative experience.2+ years of experience supervising investigative staff.Preferred certifications :Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI), Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), or Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).Skills and Abilities :

This is a work-at-home position.
