As a Paralegal, you will assist attorneys with preparing cases, conducting legal research, organizing documents, and communicating with clients and court personnel. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and experienced in handling a variety of legal tasks with professionalism and discretion.Paralegal Responsibilities and DutiesConduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparationDraft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and affidavitsOrganize and maintain case files, evidence, and legal correspondenceAssist attorneys during trials, hearings, and depositionsCommunicate with clients, witnesses, and court officialsReview and summarize case materials and transcriptsEnsure legal compliance and assist with document filingsMonitor deadlines and court schedules using case management toolsParalegal Qualifications and SkillsStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsKnowledge of legal terminology and proceduresProficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)Excellent organizational and time management abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther)Ability to handle confidential information with integrityDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience RequirementsAssociates or Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related fieldParalegal certificate from an ABA-approved program (preferred)Minimum 24 years of experience in a legal setting or law firmExperience in litigation, corporate, or family law is a plusFirm CultureThe firm culture has been built and is maintained by everyone committing to living our core values.
