Position Overview
Arizona State Parks and Trails (ASPT) is seeking a Web Developer to support and maintain azstateparks.com , a high-traffic website receiving over 14 million visits annually , along with related reservation pages.
The developer will focus heavily on WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance , CMS updates, performance improvements, and collaboration with Tyler Technologies to resolve system-level issues.

Strong experience with HTML & CSS

Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
Experience using code repositories (Git)
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of IT and Communications leadership, the contractor will :
Use Acquia Optimize to identify accessibility and quality issues
Implement WCAG 2.2 A & AA fixes within the CMS
Fix broken links and broken images
Compile issues requiring vendor (Tyler Technologies) intervention
Monitor accessibility improvements and recommend enhancements
Coordinate with Tyler Technologies on releases and validate functionality post-release

48 Level A accessibility issues
24 Level AA accessibility issues
