Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and / or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire : Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Upon hire : Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
