Teamcenter Architect (Subject Matter Expert - Service Lifecycle Management)
Role Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced Teamcenter Architect with a specialized focus and subject matter expertise in Service Lifecycle Management (SLM). This individual will be a key leader in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Teamcenter solutions to support all phases of the service lifecycle, from service planning and definition to execution and analysis. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving strategic initiatives to enhance service efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic SLM Solution Design : Lead the architectural design and development of Teamcenter solutions tailored to meet complex Service Lifecycle Management requirements, including service bill of materials (SBOM), service procedures, maintenance planning, technical publications, and service feedback loops.
- Technical Leadership & Guidance : Act as the primary subject matter expert for Teamcenter SLM modules and functionalities, providing technical leadership, best practices, and strategic direction to project teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Requirements Analysis & Definition : Collaborate closely with service operations, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into robust and scalable Teamcenter SLM architectural designs.
- System Integration & Data Flow : Design and oversee the integration of Teamcenter SLM with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, MES, and IoT platforms to ensure seamless data flow and process orchestration across the service value chain.
- Solution Implementation & Deployment : Guide the implementation, configuration, customization, and deployment of Teamcenter SLM solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, performance, and security requirements.
- Performance Optimization & Scalability : Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization, performance tuning, and scalability improvements within the Teamcenter SLM environment.
- Governance & Standards : Establish and enforce architectural governance, standards, and best practices for Teamcenter SLM implementations, ensuring consistency and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Teamcenter Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience (typically 8+ years) with Teamcenter, including data model design, configuration and administration.Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) : Proven subject matter expertise in Teamcenter SLM modules, including :
Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) : Structure, management, and linkage to engineering BOMs.Service Planning & Procedures : Authoring, managing, and delivering service instructions, manuals, and repair procedures.Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) : Understanding of MRO processes and how Teamcenter supports them.Technical Publications : Experience with authoring and publishing technical documentation (e.g., S1000D, DITA) within Teamcenter.Service Analytics & Feedback : Knowledge of integrating service data for analysis and continuous improvement.Architectural Design Principles : Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for large-scale PLM / SLM implementations.Communication & Leadership : Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical). Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a pragmatic approach to solution design.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with other Siemens Digital Industries Software tools (e.g., NX, Solid Edge, Opcenter) and their integration with Teamcenter.Certifications in Teamcenter or related PLM / SLM technologies.Experience in industries with complex service requirements (e.g., Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Heavy Machinery, Medical Devices).
