The Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking
System Architectto lead the design, modernization, integration, and implementation of IT systems that support the Commission’s regulatory mission. This role is pivotal in ensuring a secure, scalable, and compliant digital infrastructure that promotes transparency, efficiency, and public trust.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture :Design and maintain robust system architectures supporting regulatory operations, case management, and public access platforms.Modernization & Cloud Integration :Lead the transformation of legacy systems and drive cloud adoption in alignment with Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) standards.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :Partner with internal teams, state agencies, and utility providers to define and implement technical solutions.Cybersecurity Leadership :Architect secure systems with a focus on identity management, Zero Trust principles, and compliance with state cybersecurity policies.Procurement Support :Define technical requirements, evaluate vendor solutions, and support procurement processes.Documentation & Governance :Create and maintain detailed documentation of system workflows, integration points, and architectural decisions.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in system architecture, enterprise IT, or system administration roles.Strong expertise in :Cloud platforms (especially Microsoft Azure and M365)System integration and interoperabilityCybersecurity frameworks and best practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience in government, regulatory, or utility environments.Familiarity with electronic filing systems and utility data platforms.Understanding of :AI governance and data ethicsarly in support of live public hearings and stAccessibility standards and inclusive designProficiency in :Programming and scripting languagesRelational databases and data modelingSDLC methodologies and DevOps practicesExperience with audio / video production and broadcasting systems, particul reaming infrastructure.Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $88,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
