Port of Subs, your neighborhood sandwich shop, located in Tamarack Village, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Community Engagement and Catering Sales Coordinator. This new role is responsible for building relationships with community organizations to introduce Port of Subs' sliced-fresh difference to them and identify, develop, and coordinate fundraising, event, and catering opportunities for the restaurant through phone calls, email, and in-person visits. This part-time opportunity (15-20 hours per week) offers scheduling flexibility at our Woodbury office, competitive pay, and a goal-based incentive program.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement :

Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups that align with Port of Subs’ values and goals.

Introduce Port of Subs fundraising and catering programs to community organizations.

Identify and evaluate event participation opportunities.

Participate in community events and networking activities to promote catering services.

Catering Sales :

Introduce Port of Subs' catering capabilities to community businesses and organizations and develop a database of active and prospective catering clients.

Follow up with catering prospects and customers to build relationships, promote catering opportunities throughout the year, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Cultivate catering sales opportunities and coordinate orders with restaurant team members, including order details and pick-up or delivery arrangements.

Manage catering orders from inquiry to fulfillment.

Qualifications

Outgoing personality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable with new business development through phone calls, email, and in-person visits

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
