Character License Graphic Artist
An established Wholesale Manufacturer of children's apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Character License Graphic Artist position.
This person will create character licensed designs for boys and girls apparel ages 0-16, contributing to all stages of the design process, from concept creation to final production.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-setting designs, ensuring they align with our brand's vision and aesthetic.
- Contribute fresh ideas based on market research.
- Support sales / merchandising with preparing market presentations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience creating character licensed product, preferably for children's clothing, but would consider adult apparel or home soft goods experience.
- Strong portfolio showing your design skills.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and a keen eye for color, pattern, and detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience in art manipulation and creation.
