General Revenue Accountant Oil & Gas (Contract)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Revenue Accountant with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry to join their team on a contract basis. This role is supporting revenue accounting operations during a critical period.

Location : Dallas, TX 75251

Schedule : Hybrid (Work from Home on Mondays & Fridays)

Pay Range : $45$55 / hour

Duration : 36 months (contract only; not expected to convert to permanent)

Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Revenue Accountant with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry to join their team on a contract basis. This role is supporting revenue accounting operations during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain allocation schedules for revenue reporting
• Research and prepare Prior Period Adjustments (PPAs)
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Perform revenue accounting tasks primarily using Microsoft Excel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition
• Utilize Inertia accounting system as needed (minimal usage)
