JOB SPECIFICS

• Illinois Neurological Institute and OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois, is seeking an inpatient, full-time, Neurohospitalist to expand our team.
• Enjoy flexibility with a 7 on 7 off schedule
• The role involves comprehensive management of adult neurology patients in an acute care setting, including making diagnostic and treatment decisions in the ED, determining suitability for thrombolytic and / or endovascular stroke treatments, managing a range of routine and complex inpatient neurologic conditions, and collaborating across multiple medical disciplines
• Potential academic opportunity with Family Practice residents from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Bloomington
• No hospital call
• Participate in quality improvement measures within the neurology department and the hospital for neurology-specific matters
