We are currently seeking a Project Program Mgmt. Senior Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US). We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in our global application rationalization program. With over 2,500 applications and a concurrent organizational shift from a regional to a centralized global structure, this is a high-impact position that requires a unique blend of technical understanding, exceptional communication, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be the primary driver for data collection, analysis, and decision-making. This role is not just about managing a project plan; it's about navigating complex stakeholder groups, building consensus, and translating data into actionable rationalization strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication :
  • Serve as a point of contact for a diverse set of global stakeholders, including business owners, IT leaders, and end-users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to secure buy-in and cooperation for data collection efforts, especially amidst organizational changes.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on rationalization goals, criteria, and outcomes.
  • Data Collection & Analysis :
  • Manage and drive the collection of critical application data, including ownership, technical attributes, business value, cost, and usage.
  • Act as a business analyst to interpret and validate data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness for rationalization decisions.
  • Perform a thorough analysis of collected data to identify potential rationalization opportunities (e.g., duplicate functionality, end-of-life applications, high-cost / low-value systems).
  • Rationalization Planning & Execution :
  • Synthesize analysis findings into clear, concise rationalization recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize which applications should be retired, consolidated, or modernized.
  • Develop and manage project plans for the selected rationalization initiatives, tracking progress and reporting on key milestones.
  • Program Support :
  • Contribute to the overall App Rat program by sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to stakeholder resistance, data gaps, or technical dependencies.

Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years experience as a Project Manager and / or Business Analyst in a large-scale, complex corporate environment.
  • 8+ years experience with application rationalization, IT portfolio management, or a similar IT transformation program.
  • 8+ years as a stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of successfully navigating politically sensitive situations.
  • 8+ years experience in global, cross-functional projects and an understanding of the challenges associated with decentralized organizational structures.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $78,948$147,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and / or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
