DENTIST

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Dentists provide optimal dental care that both addresses and reduces the oral health disparities among the population served by LCH&D. They diagnose and treat issues related to the teeth, gums, and oral health in general. Dentists also educate and instruct patients and their caregivers on proper oral health practices and techniques. All care and services are provided in accordance with LCH&D's philosophy of "partnership" with patients while integrating its values of Respect, Quality, Compassion and Hope.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have Dental degree and must be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Must maintain the appropriate continuing education requirements as established by the State Board of Dental Examiners.
• Must have BLS certification.
