Chrysalis Provides support for people that have developmental disabilities to help them gain greater independence by making a difference daily in applying the five Chrysalis Values : Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring and Accountability.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Administrative Assistant duties include : answering phones
- calling employees to sign up for trainings held at the office
- filing
- send out monthly MPR's and financial statements to Support Coordinators
- maintain confidentiality with paperwork handled
- and any other duties as assigned by the office manager and the Area Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Have good judgmentHave good general writing skills and can articulate oneself on a variety of issues.Proficient in the use of email, Word, Excel and comfortable using a copy and fax machineExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with employees and clientsDemonstrate professional phone etiquette working with employees, outside professionals, and state employeesAbility to create simple documents and formal lettersAbility to prioritize multiple projects and demonstrate time management skillsAbility to work effectively in team to delegate projectsEnsure compliance follow up is complete from corporate auditsHelp gather / collect the necessary files for all external auditsHelp to resolve billing issues, as they ariseCollect individual budget worksheets each month from Support CoordinatorsFollow up with AD's on missing monthly paperwork (from the houses) that didn't get turned in / logged in spreadsheetPrompt / support AD's to complete all MPR's, subsidy trackers, house audits, and asset limit spending each monthAssist / support APA's in collecting necessary PCPS items from AD's and BehavioristsHelp ensure all filling is complete and up to date in officeWork with and support managers / AD's on missing financial folders, action needed itemsREQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of at least 18 years oldPass a criminal background checkPass a drug testPossess the ability to speak, read and write effectively in EnglishPossess computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other data basesPossess basic math skillsBasic understanding of behavior concepts in people with disabilitiesHave reliable transportationExperience or Education :
High school diploma or GEDHave good public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professionals and state employees.
Training and Certifications
Complete SOAR, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA trainingComplete Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation and Maltreatment Prevention training
Complete Human Rights training
The wage range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 per hour.
