Temporary Purchasing Specialist

Riverside Research Institute is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented temporary Purchasing Specialist to join our Procurement Team. This is a 3-month assignment. This individual will help manage the full procurement lifecycle for materials, components and services in support of the entire organization for both Direct and Indirect type orders.

Responsibilities include overseeing procurement processes in compliance with regulations, partnering with internal teams, evaluating products and suppliers, preparing proposals, negotiating purchasing terms, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining procurement documentation.

Qualifications include 3-5 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, and knowledge of DoD regulations. Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
