Project Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Project Accountant to support the financial operations of a well-established organization in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate project financials, ensuring timely billings, and supporting management with critical reporting and analysis. Responsibilities :

• Maintain job cost and revenue records to support accurate monthly accounting closes.
• Prepare monthly client billings using AIA documentation.
• Process approved accounts payable invoices and maintain project-related financial documentation.
• Track and manage subcontractor compliance documents, including COIs, W-9s, and waivers.
• Prepare bi-weekly check runs and assist with cash flow management.
• Identify and report financial risks, discrepancies, or budget issues to management.
• Monitor and collect outstanding receivables to ensure proper cash flow.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the accounting team.
