Site Civil Engineer
Freese and Nichols is currently searching for a Site Civil Engineer in our Denton office . Site Civil is housed within the Urban Planning+Design Group alongside urban planning and landscape architecture, and provides site civil support across multiple engineering practices within Freese and Nichols as well as external clients.
In this role, you will develop construction documents and perform calculations for federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients for projects including : generating paving and dimensional control plans, performing stormwater system calculations and generating the plans and profiles, and generating overall and detailed grading plans for projects.
Other duties may include :
Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment
Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
Collect, adjust, and correlate data and recognize discrepancies in results
Become familiar with City design criteria and standards
Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines defined by the Project Engineer and within the time and schedule allocations
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to become proficient at grading, plan and profile production, and addressing markups.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
1+ year of experience performing routine engineering tasks in a related field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
