We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marine Engine Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective management and support of our network of marine engine dealers and field sales engineers.
The role requires a deep understanding of the marine industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives in alignment with company goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing marine engine dealers and identify opportunities to expand our dealer network in key markets.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to dealers and field sales engineers to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and support for dealers and customers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform product development initiatives.
- Coordinate participation in industry events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations to showcase our products and expand brand awareness.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Act as a brand ambassador for our client by promoting their products and values with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in marine engine sales or a similar industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of marine engine systems and applications.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with dealers, attend events, and support field sales activities.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering results and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
