Description
This positions requires a background check. Contingent on contract award. This job will perform RCM analysis on a Wiggins forklift truck. Travel : 5%
Conduct RCM analyses for required systems using Origina Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) technical information and in accordance with Reliability Program Process Guide and Department of Defense Standard Practice Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Process.
Contact OEMs and Vendors for additional source data and / or validation of data as required ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Complete RCM reports using traditional fixed forms or a Government-provided electronic tool, as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Submit the results of the RCM analyses, to the COR for review, according to a Government-directed schedule and manner.
Responsible for the development and delivery of MPCs identified on the approved Maintenance Requirement List (MRL) by the deadlines specified in Section 6 or as specified by the Government for each Program / project task order modification. Notify the project manager of any missing technical data or unexpected delays in the schedule.
Develop and deliver publication-ready MPCs in accordance with Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide and Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Desk Guide within the POP and in the format (typically electronic, editable MS Word file) specified for each Program / project-specific tasking.
May develop new MPCs or modify existing MPCs, as required.
Ensure that MPC will pass a Quality Assurance (QA) review by the Government in accordance with Government standards, if provided.
Explicitly identify the supply requirements for all MPCs; all items (tools, expendables and consumables) will be populated in accordance with Government standards, if provided.
Ensure that part numbers with an existing NSN shall be an exact match to the information listed in the Defense Logistics Agency's online Federal Logistics Information Service (WebFLIS) public search.
Compile, maintain and provide a special tools list in accordance with Government standards, if provided.
At least a BA / BS degree from an accredited College or University (additional years of experience in lieu of education may be considered).
Possess valid NAVSEA Level II RCM certification.
At least three years experience supporting Government acquisitions in a RCM / MPC Specialist role, with a minimum of three (3) year recent experience supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS / USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT 1 or equivalent).
Must have working knowledge of and comply with the maintenance enrollment / development standards as they relate to supporting the CG or US Navy missions.
Must have experience developing and modifying MPCs and evaluating maintenance requirements and reliability characteristics of shipboard systems for HM&E equipment.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access, and PowerPoint and have experience with MS Visio.
