Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join our United States based ETQ team. ETQ is the leader in Quality and Environmental Health and Safety Management Software Solutions in the industry. We work with some of the largest brands in the world. ETQ is part of Hexagon, a global leader in sensor, software and autonomous solutions that are driving the digital transformation of manufacturing and industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Release Management, and a deep understanding of DevSecOps practices. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure solutions, as well as managing the release process to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. You will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams.

• Manage the release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipelines.
• Automate and streamline deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, IaC, and Release Management.
