Job Summary

As a mechanical engineer on our team, you'll play a key role in designing and developing innovative aftermarket wheels from concept to production. You'll create 3D models, support testing and validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge products to market. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who's passionate about automotive design, product innovation, and seeing their ideas come to life.

Responsibilities

• Product Development : Assist throughout the entire new product development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, validation, and launch into production. This includes New Designs and Transfer Molds.
• Design & Modeling : Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D production drawings using CAD software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, sales, marketing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to bring new products to market efficiently.
• Testing & Validation : Design and oversee testing and validation processes to ensure new parts meet performance and safety standards, documenting results thoroughly.
• Technical Support : Provide post-launch technical support, including creating technical content for product instructions, FAQs, and marketing materials.
• Innovation : Research and apply new design techniques, processes, materials, or testing methods to innovate and improve products.
• Project Management : Manage project tasks, organize documentation, and keep stakeholders informed of assignment status, timing, and technical issues.
• Cost & Quality : Identify cost-reduction opportunities and contribute to monitoring and improving product quality throughout the development process.
• Market Analysis : Assess applications, analyze market trends, and identify innovative design opportunities for aftermarket wheels.
