Senior Buyer Planner
JOB DESCRIPTION
Description :
Purchasing Equipment parts, raw materials, metals, electronic parts and components supplies, MRO and manufacturing supplies / consumables.
All aspects of PO development, processing, verification, terms, and execution.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers / vendors
- Create and maintain purchasing metrics, KPI’s, OKR’s (PPV, supplier OTD, RTV turn around), reduction through quality improvements by the supplier.
- Ability to drive cost reductions, reduce on hand inventory, and inventory turns, through volume discounts, blanket orders, alternate suppliers, etc.
- Drives data and inventory control accuracy at the BOM, router, inventory, and item master levels to improve material availability
- Manage purchase order schedules in MRP to meet production schedules, forecasts, and engineering commitments within 24-48 hours
- Assure that all activities comply with ISO and AS procedures
