Senior Design Engineer Engine Design
Base pay range : $60.00 / hr - $70.00 / hr
Responsibilities include :
- Lead engine design projects, ensuring high standards of quality and performance
- Collaborate with suppliers on new sourcing activities and localization initiatives
- Apply DRBFM techniques to solve complex engineering problems
- Utilize GD&T for precise engineering drawings and specifications
- Create and review CAD drawings (2D & 3D) for engine components and systems
- Perform simulation and modeling using MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and GT-Power
- Work closely with simulation groups to validate and optimize designs
- Support VA (Value Analysis) and future product development efforts
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; provide technical leadership within the team
