Position Overview :

As a Project Engineer, you’ll drive complex engineering, manufacturing, and process improvement projects from concept to completion. You’ll collaborate with engineers, production teams, and customers to ensure technical systems are delivered efficiently and with precision. Whether managing test equipment builds, improving production processes, or developing documentation, you'll be a key force behind getting things done right.

This role demands a detail-oriented, data-driven individual who can work independently, owns tasks without handholding, and communicates clearly with technical and non-technical teams alike. Workload and project priority are ever shifting – you must be able to juggle simultaneous priorities and effectively multitask.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Manage cross-functional projects from requirements gathering to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and documentation with minimal oversight.
  • Translate customer and internal requirements into actionable technical plans.
  • Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and installation activities.
  • Support quoting efforts through material and labor estimation.
  • Create and refine engineering documentation, SOPs, and BOMs for clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and software teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive process improvements through metrics, analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar) OR Business with strong technical exposure.
  • Technical writing experience—able to author and maintain precise, structured documentation.
  • Ability to manage tasks and projects with near independence.
  • Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Excel, Gantt charts, scheduling platforms).
  • Comfortable with data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with BOMs, MRP systems, or production support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen methods is a bonus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (due to federal contract requirements).  We are unable to sponsor visas nor can we accept student or work visas.
