Position Summary
This position supports operational and maintenance teams for oil / gas processing facilities and compressor stations by planning and scheduling maintenance activities. This position is focused on utilizing manpower safely and effectively, maintaining company assets and their respective databases efficiently, and minimizing process downtime; all while ensuring all work is compliant with company standards, procedures, and government requirements. As a team member, this person will also assist in other duties as assigned and may include but is not limited to, Administrative, Maintenance, Inventory, Engineering, Operations and EH&S related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and recommends maintenance techniques / plans to ensure optimization of both downtime and resources including MOC information, QA / QC needs, P&IDs and required skill crafts.
- In cooperation with Operations and Engineering develops the scope and purpose of equipment alterations, repairs, and new construction.
- Determines facilities and equipment in operating area that may require replacement and / or repair and recommends maintenance procedures to Operations Leadership.
- Reviews work order for proper authorization, priority of compliance maintenance, and accuracy.
- Determines craft skills needed for maintenance activity and estimates man-hours, material, tools, and equipment needed.
- Actively participate in PHAs, identifying mechanical integrity covered equipment.
- Assist in the creation of the annual maintenance budget and provide monthly support during budget reviews.
- Develop and create standardized job plans and BOMs
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.2-5 years of experience in I&E, mechanical, or other craft-related experience preferred.2-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or operational data management OR 5 years' experience in oil and gas maintenance required.Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) maintenance planning required.Knowledge of oil and gas equipment and documentation.Good working knowledge of OSHA, PSM, DOT, and PHMSA regulations and practices.Proficient in Work Management Process, and knowledge of SAP (or another computer maintenance management system) responsibilities beyond basic work order creation.Strong basic computer navigation; MS Office program proficiency.Desired but not required : proficiency with Prometheus suite of tools.Must be able to complete Health Questionnaire and pass drug test and background check.Valid driver's license required.Skills

Physical Demands : This position requires sitting throughout most of the day. It will involve some lifting and filing. On occasion there will be outside office assignments that can involve walking around construction sites, industrial locations, field and / or wooded areas.Work Environment : Generally working in an office environment; however, may require visiting and walking around some gas processing sites, driving on rural roads, and other field locations, to acquire familiarity with facilities and gather data. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold outside weather conditions and flammable gas and liquids. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, acidic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Work from home is possible one (1) day per week.Up to 10% travel.
