About the Role

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to integrate, deploy, and enhance cutting-edge autonomous systems in real-world operational environments.

This is a high-impact, high-intensity role—ideal for engineers who thrive at the intersection of software, hardware, and field deployment .

You’ll spend significant time testing systems in demanding conditions, working hands-on with autonomous platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, mission-critical technology.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine autonomy and networking software , optimizing performance in live environments.
• Deploy and test autonomous systems in the field, identifying and resolving real-world issues across autonomy, perception, and control.
• Analyze mission data to drive continuous software and systems improvement.
• Integrate new autonomy features , ensuring seamless interaction between sensors, compute, and vessel hardware.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to align performance with mission needs and customer feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across software, hardware, and networking layers during deployments.
• Document and standardize best practices, deployment procedures, and debugging workflows.
• Lead initiatives from design through deployment, including live demonstrations and customer field trials.
