We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team!
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Preventive Maintenance -
Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant surfaces
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Carpentry, painting and plastering
Daily Functions :
Establish and maintains open, collaborative relationships with team members
Provide technical assistance to other departments
Assists in inspecting and evaluating the physical condition of all facilities in order to determine the type of work required
Conduct restaurant inspections and identify repair needs
Oversee small projects, manage and report on the work progress
Monitors timeliness and quality of completion of repair work orders
Must be able to :
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, boiler / hot water heater, refrigeration and kitchen equipment
Repair quick fixes
Install and replace basic electrical fixtures. Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures
Perform minor plumbing functions
Refurbish furniture and fixtures as needed
Maintain the restaurant exterior and curb appeal
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standardS
Perform other duties as requested by management
CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) :
S95 - fire alarm system
F01 - fire guard / fire watch
G93 - supervision of side walk heaters
S12 - citywide sprinkler system
S13 - citywide standpipe systems
