Job Summary

Benedict Miller supplies the world with 4130 and 4340 Aircraft Quality Steel in sheet, plate and bar. As a member of the sales team, primary responsibilities will be to coordinate sales efforts, quoting, following up quotes, order cross-checking for accuracy and general customer service activities. Secondary responsibilities will include purchasing activities including quoting mills, placing mill orders, supporting QC and designing excel spreadsheet reports from database to support sales / purchasing.

Success will be measured by company objectives including : Sales Growth, Maximum Inventory Goals, Customer On-Time Delivery, Gross Profit Results, and Vendor Performance for example.

Responsibilities

Negotiate pricing with vendors and spot-buy customers to meet Gross Profit targets

Coordinate cycle counts and inventory system maintenance
