Associate Machinist Lathe - 3rd Shift

Based on your level of machining experience, we provide hands-on training and support to help you build the skills you need to succeed.
As a machinist, you will be responsible for producing machined parts and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
You will work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
You will also check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Maintains the organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping within the work area and reports any maintenance issues encountered
- Assists with computer numerical control (CNC) machine set-up
- Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems
- Utilizes work orders, blueprints (GD&T), sketches, written, and verbal instructions to complete required tasks
- Enters information into our manufacturing platform (MES); creates and submits machine status reports
- Confers with production personnel to resolve machining problems
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Possesses basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Works with team to build and sustain a safe and friendly working environment
- May be required to stand / sit for extended periods of time
- May be required to run multiple machines
Education and Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 1-3+ years of related experience
- Requires High school diploma or GED
