IT Energy Management System and SCADA System Administrator
WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an IT Energy Management System and SCADA System Administrator (IT Applications Analyst) in our Pewaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement (remote / on-site) with time spent in the Pewaukee office. This position is part of a job family (Associate IT Applications Analyst, IT Applications Analyst, and Senior IT Applications Analyst) where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Summary
The IT Applications Analyst position will support our energy management system within the IT Energy Management Solutions (EMS) group. The Applications Analyst will work closely with real-time control centers, field engineers and electricians, and business departments to maintain accurate configurations and system modeling information within the energy management system.
Responsibilities
- Supports computer systems, software applications, databases and tools. Analyzes error conditions, identifies potential causes of problems, uses root cause analysis techniques, and expedites resolution.
- Identifies, implements, and maintains key performance and process metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, procedures and applications.
- Designs, modifies, develops, implements, and tests system configurations.
- Writes / reviews documentation to describe configuration processes, logic, and test plans. Writes / reviews manuals for users.
- Designs, develops and maintains plans related to data integrity, system reliability, and consistency.
- Acts as a liaison between various groups, such as the field support teams, Database Administration, Network Support, and Computer Operations.
- Develops implementation plans for individual or small group tasks and small to medium projects. Accountable for developing scope, estimation, and tracking time and resources expended on projects.
- Performs on-call responsibilities as part of an on-call rotation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, successful completion of a certified Application Development Apprenticeship will also be considered.Preferred Qualifications

End Date : 10 / 14 / 2025Pay Range Minimum : $66,898.00Pay Range Maximum : $132,708.94The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary / pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
