Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 45pm.

Summary : The Accounting Assistant I reports to the Accounting Manager and AVP - Accounting, and is responsible for completion of various support duties within the Accounting Department. Such duties include balancing and reconciling accounts, and preparing reports as required within the Accounting Department and Finance Division.

Requirements : Minimum of one year recent relevant experience is required. Associate's (or higher) degree in Accounting or certificate preferred. Additional requirements include 10-key ability, current technology skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Notepad, Access, Prologue, and Monarch), strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure involving deadlines. Previous credit union or other financial institution experience preferred.
