Description

We are looking for a skilled Web Administrator to join our team in Eastern IA. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the organization's website and internal intranet, ensuring they effectively support public communication and employee collaboration. This position also involves providing technical support for web applications and tools while upholding industry standards in accessibility and design.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain the organization's website using Drupal, ensuring functionality and user-centered design.

Manage and update the internal employee intranet to streamline communication and resource sharing.

Collaborate with departments to assist in creating and updating web content.

Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and industry best practices.

Utilize graphic design tools to create and edit images, supporting the visual appeal of the website.

Implement and manage version control systems for efficient website updates.

Conduct audits and performance tests to ensure the website runs smoothly and securely.

Provide technical support for web-related applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Track and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

Maintain documentation and records for website updates, system configurations, and related tasks.

Requirements

Associate's degree in computer science or a related field.

At least three years of experience in web design, development, and administration.

Proficiency in website development with Drupal and programming languages such as JavaScript.

Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Knowledge of web accessibility standards and industry practices.

Experience with content management systems, configuration management, and backup technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
