San Antonio, TX ShurMed EMS is actively seeking ECA's / EMR's to work with our EMT's and paramedics as part of our EMS system.
For those wishing to continue their EMS education, we will provide all EMT-B training free of cost, while you work with EMS crews to obtain experience in this challenging field of healthcare.
SHURMED EMS is a veteran, privately owned EMS service provider. We provide emergent and non-emergent response and medical transport services to a wide range of customers, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, industrial sites, UTSA, Texas State University and Trinity University.
Advanced life support calls comprise a large portion of our businesses.
Entrance into the Emergency Medical Technician Basic program is contingent upon successful completion of the New Employee Orientation Program rideouts with assigned Field Training Officer and successful operation in the field at the Emergency Medical Responder level
Benefits :
- Competitive hourly pay $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
- Free in house training, to include advancement to Advanced EMT certification (provided by and paid for by the company)
- 80 hours per year PTO (FT) and 40 hours for PT, with a cash out at end of each year
- Company payed employee's health insurance at 100% (FT)
- 401K option
Requirements :
Current ECA or EMR certification
BLS certification
Good driving record
Clean criminal record
Ability to speak and write English legibly
Professional appearance with good customer service abilities
