Machinist

Responsibilities

• This position requires several years’ experience in a shop floor environment performing saw cutting, grinding, polishing and other machinist work.
• The machinist will work on a team that provides machining support to a metallurgical testing laboratory.
• The machinist is required to follow written instructions and be able to read blueprints.
• The machinist must pay attention to detail and be quality oriented.
• Equipment used to perform machinist job functions include : abrasive cut-off saws, surface grinders, lathes, reciprocating mill, and large band saws.
• The machinist must be capable of communicating with all levels of employees found in a professional lab environment, including supervisors and company engineers.
• The machinist must be team oriented, self-motivated and be flexible to working weekends and overtime when needed.

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Shift :

This position will work in the 2nd Shift, Mon to Fri. No relocation assistance is available, candidates out of state must be able to relocate at their own expense.

Duration : 12 Months

Location : Mossville, IL 61552

Pay Rate : $21 to $25 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
