The position offers excellent compensation, a full-time schedule with no call or weekends, and support from an experienced healthcare team located within a leading cancer care facility. The role involves supervising advanced practice providers and managing a patient load of approximately 15 scheduled patients and 4 consults daily, focusing on personalized cancer treatment and advancing research.

Shift Details : 8am 4 : 30 pm

Schedule : Monday Friday; No Call or Weekends

Work Details :

Support staff : 1 Oncology Navigator, 2 CMA's, 1 Triage LPN, 3 Oncology Infusion RN's.

Amount of coverage needed per month : Full Time

Patients per day : 15 scheduled; 4 consults on average

Patient population / age : Adults Only

Department description : Leading healthcare facility dedicated to comprehensive cancer care, research, and education. Located within an existing Health system, it offers a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment, bringing together a team of expert oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to provide personalized care for patients. The institute is committed to advancing cancer research through clinical trials and innovative therapies, contributing to the development of new treatment options and improving patient outcomes. With a focus on patient-centered care, education, and cutting-edge research, the Cancer Institute strives to make significant strides in the fight against cancer. Total of 25 physicians in the practice. The Locums provider will be required to supervise APPs on site. Labs are on site.

EMR : Epic

Special procedures : 50% Hematology, 50% Oncology

Skills required : Must have the minimum of 3 years of training.

Requirements :

Board Certification : ABIM

License required : SC (will license)

DEA : Yes

CSR : Yes

Certifications required : BLS, ATLS

Minimum experience required : Must have been practicing medicine for at least 2 years.
