Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support design, installation, maintenance, and validation of electrical systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with GMP , FDA , and EHS standards while supporting new capital projects and ongoing plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for production, utilities, and cleanroom environments.
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification (IQ / OQ / PQ) of new equipment.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Ensure proper functioning of power distribution systems, MCCs, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams (mechanical, automation, validation, quality).
• Manage contractors and vendors for electrical installations.
• Participate in FAT / SAT and system handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NEC , NFPA , OSHA , and FDA / cGMP regulations.
• Support audits and corrective / preventive action implementation.
• Maintain documentation related to calibration, preventive maintenance, and change controls.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions with minimal downtime.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigation for equipment issues.
