The Role
NOTE : These roles are 24 / 7 support role - Candidates need to be onsite at office if they are in regular shift and if they work at odd hours which is after their shift hours, they have the option to work remote
Shift times 7 AM 3 PM / 3 PM -11 PM (starting April shift times will change to 8 AM 4 PM / 4 PM -12 midnight) Shift times will change alternate months Need a confirmation on this from candidates to go ahead with screening / TP1
Work hours - 5 days a week as per roster, shifts might include 24x7 rotational.
Including weekends and public holidays if rostered.
Job Description
Working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies;
Continuous technical development
- Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers / switches, UNIX / Linux, and Windows-based systems
- Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
- Support and maintain SSL VPN, VPN tunnel, and client remote access.
- Work with telecom providers to manage existing telecommunication circuits, troubleshoot outages, and install service upgrades.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Ideal Profile
Technical Skills and Expected Qualification :
- 5+ Years of experience in managing engineering or ops in Network technologies
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Hands on experience on Firewalls , Security concepts, vulnerability management, threat protection
- Administration and Troubleshooting experience Zscaler ZIA
