Libertee Grounds, the 12,500 sq.ft. bar & restaurant with indoor mini golf, is seeking a passionate, driven, and professional General Manager to join our family. Job responsibilities at a glance :
- Direct Liaison to Business Owners across all channels of the business
- Overseeing responsibilities of head bartender, BOH Managers, and shift / training / marketing / programming / private event leads
- Uphold the culture of what makes Libertee Grounds the workplace that it is.
- FOH scheduling - ensuring shifts have proper coverage, fair distribution and employee relations
- Organizing staff communications and streamlining processes to improve the guest experience
- Payroll processing
- Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales and expenses
- Act as Manager on Duty / Operations champion during service, including running pre-shift meetings, Liaise with head chef and F&B manager for day-to-day updates
- General Maintenance (handyman / plumber / etc). Head bartender to support with bar related maintenance (Ecolab / multi-flow / etc)
- Toast / Reservation System / Oversee Menu / Website Updates
- Daily Operations / program execution leader. Proactively establishing and communicating special event operating procedures
- Marketing and PR / Media liaison including coordinating programming at LG, point person for all media spotlights, etc.
- Handling customer complaints / conflicts / emergencies
Qualifications include :
5+ years of restaurant experience in a high volume, excellence driven environmentMinimum 2 years in a management position within the bar & restaurant industryA sincere passion for the hospitality industry and all things food and drinkExtensive experience hiring and training across all service areasUphold the integrity of the workplace culture and overall customer experience provided at Libertee Grounds.Exceptional service skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication acumenThe ability to successfully lead the FOH teamConflict resolutionSpecial event executionWine, beer, and spirit knowledge preferredFood Safety KnowledgeHigh organizational skillsMust be comfortable with POS systems, Reservation Management, and Microsoft OfficeRAMP and ServSafe certification a plus
