Lead, Accounting Manager
Job Description
The Lead Accountant will have primary day-to-day responsibility for leading a team of accountants in the maintenance of financial statements, including accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls.
He / she will report directly to the Assistant Controller / Director.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibilities and ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for maintaining the daily flow of financial information to achieve timely and efficient achievement of close and post deliverables including P&L reviews, commentary, various analysis, schedules, and reporting for assigned areas of responsibilities.
Preparation and review of monthly accounts reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of income statements, balance sheets & other financial reports.
Assist with implementing internal controls and accounting policies & procedures to promote effective governance and accurate financial reporting.
Lead the coordination of field work for the annual audit process and work with group finance team to address selections and resolution.
Support the Assistant Controller in developing controls, policies and processes.
Research technical accounting issues and provide expert advice / guidance.
Frequently review key processes; recommend actions to improve and implement as appropriate.
Seek systems and process automation efficiencies that provide cost effective solutions.
Plan, prioritize and deliver work in a way that meets or exceeds business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong financial acumen. He / she must be collaborative, hands-on, results-oriented, innovative, and operate with the utmost integrity at all times.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, and an active CPA certification is desired.
Possesses grasp of the nuances that exist within non-profit accounting.
Has proven partnership abilities and experience working with diverse colleagues / groups and can navigate through cross-functional or cross- departmental projects while taking ownership and driving the work to achieve success.

Compensation Range
Annual Salary : $120,000.00 - $135,000.00
