Ratings by Newsweek.\n\nJob Summary : The Operating Room RN is responsible for all patient care in the procedure room and working with the physician to deliver a successful procedure and outcome for the patient. Duties include - managing procedure room(s) to ensure the rooms are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, etc; administers medication as ordered by physician, following the Moderate Sedation policy; safely monitors and documents care of patients in accordance with policy and procedure and guidelines of care; supports and assists the physicians with care of the patient throughout the procedure.\n\nMonday-Friday work schedule\n\nNO call required\n\nNO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nUSPI offers the following benefits, subject to employment status : \n

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing\n
• Current Oregon License as a Registered Nurse\n
• Current BLS & ACLS required\n
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Operating Room RN.\n
• Experience in basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation experience preferred\n
• Experience with medical outpatient procedures desired\n
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities\n
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees\n
• Knowledgeable of hospital / ASC policies and procedures specific to the procedure room\n
• Demonstrates professional behavior / conduct in all interactions with Patients, Physicians & fellow Team members\n
• Efficient use of resources\n
• Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment\n
