As an Infrastructure SRE Specialist within Citi's Enterprise Operations & Technology, specifically supporting the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), you will be a critical part of a team dedicated to safeguarding Citi's and its clients' assets and information. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of our IT infrastructure components. This role requires a strong focus on diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues, continuous improvement through automation and new technologies, and proactive system health monitoring. A significant aspect of this role will involve migrating virtualized environments to the OpenShift platform and enhancing database technologies, particularly MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities :

• Infrastructure Management & Reliability :

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and ensure the high availability and optimal performance of all critical IT infrastructure components.

Design, deploy, and maintain robust Windows-based infrastructure, including expertise in servers, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.

Demonstrate expert knowledge of MS SQL Server queries and other critical database technologies for management, tuning, and troubleshooting.

Lead and execute the migration of existing virtualized environments to the OpenShift platform.

Gather and analyze comprehensive metrics from both operating systems and applications to aid in performance tuning, fault finding, and capacity planning.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications :

6+ years of extensive IT support experience with a strong background in infrastructure management and reliability engineering.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows administration, including Windows Server environments.

Soft Skills :

Dedicated to providing high-quality, superior service and ensuring optimal system uptime. Ability to provide comprehensive hardware, software, and network problem analysis and resolution support (both remotely and on-site). Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills, capable of documenting complex technical details and collaborating with diverse teams.
